This week the Sustainable Libraries Initiative (SLI) will be making its third conference appearance in just over a month, our 4th conference attended this year!

This weeks kicks off with SLI staff exhibiting at the Massachusetts Library Association (MLA) this Monday and Tuesday, May 6 & 7. We will be hanging out and talking sustainability at booth number 39. Come by and say hello and learn more about the exciting things happening with the SLI now and the fun things we are excited for coming later this year! MLA members who would like to learn more about your free year of SLI membership through our partnership with your state library association. Bring your questions and excitement! We look forward to some visitors so stop on by.

Including our team members exhibiting at the MLA conference, Rebekkah Smith Aldrich, Executive Director of the Mid-Hudson Library System (NY) and SLI Co-Founder, will be presenting on Monday, May 6 in the Ballroom South, "Our Grandest Challenge with the Sustainable Libraries Initiative" at 4:20 PM. Be sure to mark your conference agendas to attend Rebekkah's program.

The next stop on the SLI road trip is Harrah's Resort and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ for the NJLA Conference from Thursday, May 30, 2024 until Friday, May 31. We look forward to seeing you out at one of these conferences, discussing the importance of climate mitigation and sustainable practices in libraries around the Nation.
