Seed Library Network
The Seed Library Network offers a variety of free resources for communities that have seed libraries or want to open them. A seed library is a place where seeds can be shared with the community for free. They reduce food deserts, promote biodiversity, adapt to changing climate conditions, and create community.
Plant Yourself on the Seed Library Map! 📌
If your seed library is open, make sure to add yourself to the Seed Library Map, http://bit.ly/seedcensus. This will help you connect with other seed libraries as well as help the Seed Library Network identify best practices and needs in the community. Please forward to anyone who has a seed library and might be interested but isn’t on the map.
How to Create a Seed Library
Visit SeedLibraries.net to get the resources about how to open and maintain a seed library in your community. You can also find if there are seed libraries near you.
Share resources
If you have envelopes or labeling documents, photos, or tips, please share them on the Seed Library Network's Airtable form. Resources will be shared on their website, social media, and classes to inspire and inform other seed libraries around the world!
