Project Look Sharp

A useful tool for School Librarians

Project Look Sharp is a nonprofit, mission-driven outreach program of Ithaca College. Their mission is to help K-16 educators enhance students’ critical thinking, metacognition, and civic engagement through media literacy materials and professional development.

School Librarians can use Project Look Sharp to find over 80 free lessons if you search their resources using the keyword "Sustainability". Further narrow your search by grade level or subject or filter by standard, media type, etc.

Each lesson uses different approaches to the integration of media literacy and critical thinking into teaching about sustainability.

With sustainability being a central issue of our time, Project Look Sharp has created a rich collection of materials related to topics such as climate change, water, food and agriculture.

Complete with Sustainability Related Lessons, Curriculum Kits, Instructional Materials, an archive of webinars, articles and more!
