The article titled "How Public Libraries are Becoming Community Hubs in the Midst of Disasters" written by Patrick Sisson, discusses how libraries across the country have become centers for resilience and recovery in the face of climate change. The article mentions how many people have found a refuge in public libraries in the wake of Hurrican Helene this past September, for coordinating supply distribution, hosting repair clinics, lending tools through their "library of things", and serving as meeting spots.
